On 30th April 2018, Quadrant Private Equity’s The Entertainment and Education Group (“TEEG”) completed its acquisition of Ardent Leisure’s (ASX:AAD) Bowling and Entertainment Division for A$160 million.
Ardent Leisure’s Bowling and Entertainment Division consists of AMF (an iconic brand in the tenpin bowling industry), and the more recently established, fast-growing brands of Kingpin and Playtime, which offer a full entertainment experience across the family entertainment sector.
The transaction brings together the businesses of Timezone, AMF, Kingpin and Playtime to form one of the world’s largest Family Entertainment Centre groups. TEEG operates across 6 countries with over 250 locations.
